The history of the pharmacy
San Giuliano pharmacy deserves a visit not only in case of healthy needs, but also to admire its precious furnishing. Our research led us to discover its origins: it was part of one of the oldest pharmacy in Trieste, which was considered one of the most beautiful pharmacies in Italy. Years later, it was sold, disassembled and forgotten by a second-hand dealer. Thanks to my parents and a skilled restorer, this pharmacy is now reborn: our authentic oak furnishing dates back to 1899.
Along with our valuable vases and mortars, the pharmacy is worth a visit to discover the history of Italian pharmacy it tells.
Dr. Marco Colombo
Ravasini pharmacy, located in piazza Libertà, was founded by pharmacist Marco Ravasini. It was renewed in 1900 by his son, Dr. Ruggero Ravasini who replaced the original pieces with elegant baroque furnishings. Dr. Remigio Bracci is the current owner.
